Mothers Day I went to my mom's house for mothers day...I was running behind schedule, which for those who know me shouldn't come as a surprise. To add to the delay, I was picking up Elisa in Geneva, and grabbing a snack before we got to mom's house. Okay ... for some of you it may be obvious that you shouldn't try to 'pop in' anywhere in Geneva at 2 O'clock on a Sunday, but that apparently wasn't clear to Elisa and I...so it took forever for us to grab something to tide us over till dinner.
Well, we ended up having dinner at mom's house around 4:30. She made corned beef and cabbage...it was really good, and I ate my fill.
We played some 'apples to apples' and then Elisa and I went for a walk. It was a nice quiet visit. It was Odd being there without the kids.  ¶ 3:38 PM
